
Part 1: Prepping the laeng fen
2 cups rice flour or all purpose flour 7 cups of water
1/4 cup of limestone paste
Cooking time: 15-30 minutes
*Mix it up into a pot and cook it over medium heat
**When it's done cooking, you can pour it into a large bowl and let it cool down.
20 cups of water
1/4 cup of tamarind or tamarind powder
2 sliced tomatoes
Cooking Time: 8-12 minutes
**Let it boiled and then set it aside to let it cool down.
Part 3: Making the sauce
2/3 cup of peppers
4 or 5 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of ginger
1 cup of bean paste
(wrap this one separate from the others on a foil on medium heat)
Cooking time: 10-12 minutes
**After it's cooked, mix the peppers, garlic, gingers, and bean paste together in a blender.
If you would like, you can add cilantro.
IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS!
**Either cut into cubes or stringy
Note: you need to add salt and/or MSG
